Ughhh yes thank youLike…I’m still so mad cuz Amy Adams and Henry Cavill are so great and if Warner had gone with Mark Waid’s pitch (Or hell, Grant Morrison’s) i would have been the happiest guy in the world
but noooooooooo
The way I see it, they got the facts right. They got his motivations there, but they lost the character and the emotion because WB wanted to keep up with Marvel. They wanted sensationalism and badassery. They wanted humanity while ignoring Kal El. I needed to see a hero, that inspiration that Superman is supposed to command, and it wasn’t there. It was faked with the extra’s reaction to him, but we as an audience had nothing to look to on screen and be inspired by.
O.o?
puppy dog eyes
